We need God's Help
This week was just a reminder to our family that we NEED God's help. Mirciades spent a long week in Scranton at the new LaTolteca. He encountered a costly problem that is due to a dishonest contractor. My immediate reaction is to do everything I can to ruin this guy . I would hate for him to continue to rip off honest business people...it really seems unfair. Then I was reminded of a study I was doing this week on "heart issues". It reminded me that revenge belongs to the Lord and not to me. I was reminded that we all will answer to the Lord for our actions on this earth. God will make a way for us to restore this loss of time and money. I feel released from stewing over the situation, and content to just let Mirciades handle it with his boss as they do intend to atleast report him to the local police. Everyday is a lesson in grace and trust!

We missed you last night Denae. We prayed for you. Hope that you are feeling better and that all is well with Mirciades in Scranton! Please tell him that we all say hi and are praying that God would meet you in this investment.
Thanks so much for this testimony of faith. One of the questions that we talked about last night dealt with how we respond to everyday events and how that can speak about what we really believe. We talked in my fellowship group about how one of the reasons that sin is so evil is that it speaks lies about and calls into question the character of God. When I grow anxious about life, my anxiety loudly proclaims "God is not trustworthy." Well, the converse is true as well. Our acts of faith speak loudly also, and your words below, which only describe your heart's response, herald boldly the truth that God is faithful and just. All wrongs will be made right and He is worthy to be trusted. Thank you for pointing us back to the faithfulness and justice of God.
Thankful that all my wrongs have been made right in Jesus,
Bryan
